About me
About me
Designing really started as a hobby for me. In my teenage years, I’d reach out to creators on YouTube and Twitch, designing on-stream graphics, social media banners, and logos. I also dabbled in Cinema 4D, creating 3D logo renders, adding textures and setting up lighting for export.
Designing really started as a hobby for me. In my teenage years, I’d reach out to creators on YouTube and Twitch, designing on-stream graphics, social media banners, and logos. I also dabbled in Cinema 4D, creating 3D logo renders, adding textures and setting up lighting for export.
After achieving a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Graphic Design, I decided to turn it into a career. I started as an in-house designer / marketing assistant for an independent furniture company, where I gained a wealth of experience. This included managing projects, meeting tight deadlines, handling customer requests, running the eCommerce site and working directly with the director on the brand’s vision.

Eventually, I moved to a design agency which exposed me to a much wider range of projects beyond in-house work. I worked on everything from front-end websites, branding, packaging, logo design, web portals, video editing and even storyboarding and animation. Through this, I developed a stronger understanding of coding and how front-end design connects with development. I also gained experience in pitching website concepts to clients and a broader knowledge of how different design tasks come together.

So, where do I see myself in the future? UX and UI.
If there’s one thing I’ve realised over the years, it’s the love for fine-tuning details, refining designs and making user experiences as smooth and intuitive as possible.
